NGR Trailer!!
To those of you that have been keeping track of Naked Girls Radio and New Groovin Rhythms over the years you know that it has been a goal of mine to get an RV to travel and stay in while running the radio station. I have taken Naked Girls Radio on the road before and have been trying to work out a place to stay at all the time wherever I may travel to.
After a couple of years of planning, saving and learning I was convinced to go with a travel trailer rather than a vehicle with an engine of its own. Luckily I was raised in a DIY family so over the winter I finally did purchase a trailer. It is in overall good shape but it does definitely need some work and a bit of TLC. I have been waiting for the weather to get warmer since I live in the Chicagoland area and it has definitely been freezing cold!!! Spring is ALMOST here!!!
I had been talking to someone that stayed all season at the camp ground every year and they had recommended that I try looking for a camper on the Facebook Marketplace. I had never used the marketplace before so I was hesitant to give it a try. I finally did and found this camper had just been listed. I got to go see it very soon after and brought cash in hand because I did not want to miss out if it turned out to be in good enough shape. I bought the trailer that day and then had it picked up a few days later when I was able to find someone with a truck to tow it home for me.
I have been taking photos once in a while since I got the trailer and I will be doing video soon also. The main reason I haven’t been making videos yet is it has just been so cold out and I spend only short amounts of time at the trailer right now. That is about to change as spring is soon approaching. I will continue to share this here with you so you can see the progress I am making with fixing things up and getting closer to getting back on the air with the radio and finally hitting the road! There’s quite a ways to go still but this is definitely a big step forward in this process! Thank you so much to everyone that has supported this project so far!! I am really excited to finally have this project underway!!
