How to Earn Gems
Gems can be earned for free daily by completing the following activities. NGR members can redeem Gems for cash!! Start earning and collecting your Gems today! Earn gems for the following tasks:

| Gems for new cover photo | 5 | Maximum 1 times per week |
| Gems for new friendship | 1 | Maximum 25 times per day |
| Gems for new comment | 10 | Maximum 15 times per day |
| Gems for adding an activity to favorites | 1 | Maximum 5 times per day |

I have changed the quantity of comments per day that members can earn Gems for from 25/ day to 100/ day.

That is a great question! Each Gem is equivalent to $.01 USD.
Also once you’ve uploaded a profile photo I will verify your account and then your comments will be automatically approved.
Until I figure out a solution the badges that you earn do not automatically go away after they have expired for some reason. I have to manually reset them. I’ll try my best to keep track of everyone’s expiration dates but just in case I haven’t and you would like to start earning again go ahead and comment to this post and I will reset your badges as soon as I notice the comment on the site. Thanks!

I have done some updates on the Badge page today: Earn Badges to Get More Gems! – NGR Music
The last 1,081 gems 💎 added to the gem bank was, in fact, contributed by radio show sponsors.
Cool , coincidentally that’s more or less the same as my gem count to date

I just noticed a glitch with my gems account since I added gems to the central account last. Not sure if it affects anybody other than me but I am trying to figure out what is going on here.
I did what they told me to fix it. Not sure that it’s working though. I will have to test it.
Okay I think I finally have things straightened out. I had to create a new “Central Deposit Bank” account for the Gems which can be found here: https://ngrmusic.com/members/main-central-deposit-bank/
My account will no longer be correlated to the Gems that everyone is earning.
Hey everybody! I wanted to let you all know that I have just updated the number of Gems you can earn by commenting on people’s profile content or blog posts! You can currently earn 10 Gems per comment! Comment up to 50 times per day!! 50 comments = 500 Gems. That’s $5.00 per day for simply posting comments!
I am testing out and working on things involving the Gems and Ranking systems this week so you may notice a few changes. I will update everyone as things progress.
For some reason gems are being added twice when I comment, and I am trying to figure out why.

Merry Christmas!! For the month of December, I have increased the value of comments and new profile activity! It’s a great time to collect those Gems! Be sure to listen to lots of NGR this month too! The more plays we get on the radio show the more Gems will get added to the bank for you to earn!!

I have updated this page with a dynamic list of activities that everyone can do to earn Gems. It will automatically update anytime changes are made to the number of Gems that can be earned for an activity.
I am so glad that I found out how to add the “How to Earn Gems” lists to the new radio show pages so that everyone can easily find it whenever they need to. There are several ideas that I have been trying to figure out how to effectively convey and I feel like having this new feature will help out a lot. The same is true with the Rank system as well. I’ve put that stuff on the website, but I wasn’t quite happy with the way it was before. This is much better.
