NGR Season 36 Episode 3: Featured Songs & NGR Musicians Letters S-T

Hey, everybody. How's it going? Happy afternoon. It is Tuesday, May 7. 2024 and I've got a nice long show for you today. I'm going to be continuing on the alphabetical list. NGR musicians today. We're going to be doing letters S through T, but really quick. Before that. I've got a couple of new featured songs somewhere along the way. I'll tell you a little bit about. What I've been doing on the website recently, I've got a whole bunch of new stuff I'm working on, so I'll fill you in shortly. But let's get to those featured songs real quick. Up first. I've got one for you by Todd Barrow, if you've been listening you've probably heard it. This is My Girl Crush.

I've got one more featured song for you before we move on to the alphabetical musicians list. Up next, this song is by a band called Friday Dies. It is called Hammer Down.

Welcome back, guys. I'm about ready to get started on the alphabetical list of NGR musicians. Continuing on, we've done quite a few shows, and I made this one a little extra long so we can kind of move along through it. I was going through the the songs, letters S through T We left off on S last time. Of course, there's lots of these Popular letters, but uh. You know, I was looking I I was. Looking up the list and I could have made an entire show off of bands that start their name with "The" like just by itself. There are so many and actually I'm like wow, you know, I should have probably done them like I know that sometimes people will alphabetize them with the word though, but then sometimes they alphabetize them by the next word and then put the after so right now I have them all under "the" and except for there was one band and I because of the way or there was one band that I think I had the name backwards with the song name and I guess it was showing up in the U's I want to say. But then it should have actually been a letter L and I was like oh darn it, I missed it in the letter L show. Because it was, you know, inputted incorrectly when it got uploaded. But anyway, we're on to the letter S. I do have some news for you guys about the website in a little bit. I'll keep you in suspense for a little while and then I'll fill you in a little bit later. So, thanks for hanging out and listening today, number one. Well. They're not numbered, really, but the first one on the NGR alphabetical list today with musicians starting with the letter S, is Smokee Whine. The song is called I Want You.

And that's our first set of NGR musicians, starting with the letter S So on to the next one. Up next, we've got Music for you by Sono Vero. This song is called End of Forever.

All right, that was Spacey Panda and Orange A Boom with the song Flow of Water before that was Soul Karma with Good Time. I'm hanging out over here doing some work on the website right now. I'm actually working on updating some musician listings. And that's over in the musician directory. If you're on the website, let me see here, you go out to the depends on how you're looking at it. If you're on a a laptop desktop, you have the navigation bar at the top at the site and it's where it says musicians. If you're on your phone, there's like a little three-line thing on the top on the left of the page usually like top left is that's a drop down and it's got the navigation menu for you and again the link that says musicians that's the musician directory there for you and It's a great place to get your music noticed and. Kind of a good networking opportunity.

You can find out about other musicians and things like that, and it has each musician page has a link to any song listings that those musicians have, and then a list of all of the songs that they have been played on. And that list is in progress because I'm still uploading, uploading. Radio shows and things like that. Things have to be properly tagged and and all the descriptions written, so they're not completely inclusive at this point. But as I get things organized eventually. As well as as as long as everything works out the way I want it to, it shouldn't be a full list one of these days of those musician listings, so that's just one of the things I've been working on, is the musician page over on NGRmusic.com. I have been working on a whole lot of other things. I will kind of tell you more about those as the show progresses. But up next, we're going to continue to our NGR musician list alphabetically. Right now, we are doing songs starting with the letter S.
