Where he's going to be doing his video from it might take. He's never live streamed before on TikTok. He's live streamed plenty, but not on TikTok. So it might take us a couple of minutes to get set up, but we'll get it going for you shortly here, I'm sure. Hi Ken, how are you? Welcome. I hope you ever had a great night. Tonight. I am waiting for my friend Ron Fitzgerald to get in here live with me. We have a show planned for you guys tonight. He is new to TikTok and so he's he hasn't live streamed yet, but here he is all right, we've got I see him on the screen. So now he's just got to get his video up and running. I'm going to try and mess with the layout of the page here. I know I've seen. Somewhere I saw a way to do it. I gotta figure out where it's at. Let's see. It is under. Hmm, I was just looking it up the other day. Live show. Notice board, come on, don't knockout the sound. Pretty new to live streaming too and I know there's a way to set up. The camera. Maybe I should bring the phone closer for a second while I figure it out. Welcome, welcome. How's Virginia tonight? Oh yeah, I just looked it up the other day. How to get us a arrange? Screen and I don't remember how I did it. It's in here somewhere, OK. Enhance effects, music, voice, sound effects, background. No, I don't think it's in there. OK, more. Flip camera, mirror video Lighting lighting. I'm gonna go. I'm gonna Google it again really quick. Live. Layout layout tick tock. We're guests. Yeah. I looked it up the other day and it seemed pretty easy. Oh, I see you run. So yeah, I'm just working on getting us set up. Let me see. It was really easy. I just don't remember what what it was. Let me try and make sure this hopefully this video. It's it's kind of interrupting the music, but I just need to mute it, alright? It is in where. I'm just looking real quick, guys. Bear with me. We'll get us going here in just a minute. All right, So it's under what? Under where are they looking? Um, go live effects slip settings. There's like a settings in there's wait, is it under settings? Yeah, let me see settings rankings comment moderators needed no. Oh, I thought I had this figured out. And we had Lita van Duma on the other day and. How do I, I just, I'm just trying to figure out how to make you big, Ron, because I got you small at the moment. Oh, oh, maybe the. There we go. OK, there's a couple, there's a couple different settings. There we go. I think I figured it out. That's the way I wanted it. All right, so. So I think we got it. I had you did have your video up there just for a second and I'm actually to hear you. I'm going to have to put in my earbuds, I think. I'll get my everything all set up there. Hey, I can see a side by side now, can you see me? Right, all right. Can you hear me? Yes. OK, good. I can hear you. Yes, I can. Awesome. Awesome. I love it when crap works. Yeah. Oh my gosh, it's about time. I've been having that kind of a day where I was having my, I was running late 'cause I couldn't get my speaker to connect again. It's really, I just bought it. It's so frustrating. Like it, it just needs to just work the first try, you know? I know I've got a mic hooked up to this, but when I plug the mic into my iPhone, it knocks out the sound. Then I can't hear you. Oh, no. OK, ridiculous. Yeah, yeah, yes. Well, welcome. I'm so glad you're here. I've been telling everybody about you. Hello everyone. This is the amazing Ron Fitzgerald. You guys, I've been talking about you all week long. Yes, I know you've been pimping me out good. Thank you. You're welcome. That was good, yeah. For those of you that don't know, Ron here is an amazing master illusionist, Gothic master illusionist, which is a fantastic thing to be, I think. It is we've got we're going to have to come out here live one night and cut you in half with a power saw or something fun like that. That would be awesome. Oh hell yeah. Although, oh, that one though we might we on TikTok. I think we'd get in trouble. They'd they'd say it's not safe. I know they they have let me eat razor blades in the beginning and then they got really unhappy about that. So you guys will have to come out and see me. Why? Sometime in my Halloween shows and you come and see me eat razor blades live where nobody seems to be bothered by it. But online, everybody kind of, kind of has a hissy fit now. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, I got I have got in trouble for playing with fire. So I that was my first warning here on TikTok. I was, I was trying to spin some fire and they're like, Nope, you can't do that. It's like, aw man, it's it's variety entertainment and I don't know understand why. As long as you're presenting as entertainment, nobody's harming themselves. We're trained professionals. We know how to do this. And when I would appeal them at first on the razor blade thing, they were they. Fine with it. They would. They saw that I was a professional entertainer and they would leave me alone after that. But then, you know, I guess somebody, you know, must have reported it or something later, and then they got really crappy about it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And I know. 'Cause I, that was. The thing is, I saw something about that. Lita Van Doom swallows swords, and her thing saw about being a professional. She actually went to school to learn how to swallow swords, which I didn't know you could do, but she actually did do. And it does. She still has that stuff up There, But I think it's just, you know, that kids could be watching and, you know, they don't need to be playing with fire. So I understand that, you know. Well, I, I yes, but it, it it, you know, you wanna. Put it out there that, you know, you are professionally trained. Don't try this at home, which is what I say right in the intro. I say don't, don't try this at home unless you're really drunk. And I'm assuming that kids arent drinking either. So you know, Yeah, yeah. If you if you guys want to see that it is, there's still a couple of them in my profile they didn't find and are left alone for some reason. So you can still see it if you scroll through it's, you know, further down. In the profile if you want to see it because I, I, I had reposted it once, but then after that problem with it, I have not reposted that particular bit of performance art again. OK, OK, well, I, I've seen you do the razor thing. I didn't. I didn't see it here. I saw it actually on Psycho Babble TV and their holloween episode Yeah, I saw that one. And that's actually where I met Ron Fitzgerald. We were doing ATV show together. Usually at Halloween time. He would come join us. And yeah, it's it's been, we've been in buddies ever since. We have. Well, you had me. She was wearing a naughty nurse uniform at the time. You have me right there so. That's awesome. I do have, we have pictures. I I will have to share them with you guys. We do. We'll have to put those up. Yeah. Yeah. So welcome, everybody. If you're just joining us, this is my friend Ron Fitzgerald, Gothic master illusionist. We're going to be hanging out talking about all kinds. Fun stuff. And then he's got a couple of illusions he's he wants to share with us in a little while, so stay tuned for that. It's, I'm excited. I'm really looking forward to it. I've seen him, he's been on quite a bit of TV and he's been in some Movies and things, so you know he's all over the place. What is your most recent? TV or film appearance that you've done? Probably the last one I did was the last movie I did. Horror movie I did was just pre pandemic, came out in 2019 and it's something called. The Devil's Canvas is kind of where ritual magic and voodoo and voodan meet the high end art world. It's really cool and he made here in Chicago and you can find that that is streaming on. The Vimeo platform, if you want to find it there. That was my next question. OK, good to know. You want to see a clip of that? There's a clip of that again on my account. If you Scroll down, you'll see it. There's some of my acting clips and everything in there and and there's one from. The Devil's canvas you can there's also one from Magus, one from Arkham Sanitarium, Soul Eater and you can find the right up at the top is pinned the trailer for Dark Realm, which is a combination of it's it's my gothic illusion show and a horror film all rolled into one and you can see the trailer there. And you can watch it. You can stream it on Amazon Prime Video right now. Yes, I actually saw it on there the other day. I have seen Dark Realm a couple of times. How did you like it? Oh, I love it. It's awesome. It's awesome. So I'm always, always showing it off to people. So the other the other ones you mentioned, those are all movies. Also, how many movies have you done all together? I have probably done about 20 movies because I'm doing this since. My first one came out in 2001. It went out, it was something called the item and it and it went out to a worldwide. It really is on video at that point. At that point, it was coming out so long ago now you know that it came out on freaking VHS. So yeah. And it was called that movie actually went to Sundance. It went to the Sundance film festival. That's awesome. It was there the same year the Blair Witch Project was in. OK. Oh man, that was the most nauseating movie I have ever seen. I'm not a big fan of the Blair Witch Project actually, because I don't I was going to watch it very much. The improv acting is great, the marketing was genius. But if I had to spend the night. In the woods with those people, I would, I would end them myself. They wouldn't have to wait for the witch. I would just, I would offer myself. Yeah, it's it's just not in the camera for me. I know a lot of people are getting nauseous at all the handheld camera work. Yeah, it didn't bother me. I was kind of amused watching other people. You know, or you know, get naughty from it. But it didn't bother me, thankfully. I don't, I don't know if I act. Actually got nauseous from that movie. However, I've had a camcorder in my hand as long as I can remember and I used to go on road trips and my one of my favorite areas. I was sitting passenger filming on one of the big VHS recorder camcorders and I can't watch that. It does make me very motion sick. It's like in a matter of two minutes, I just can't do it anymore. Back before the War on Terror, before smartphones, we had giant camcorders. Yes, yes, yes. Long ago. Yeah. So. Wow. Well, I had no idea you had done so many movies. I thought, like you were going to say, you know, four or five. I got a bunch of different projects I've done, supporting roles and a lot of lead roles. Magus is another good movie. You can find it out there on the. Movie called it's a, it's a smaller supporting role. I play the nightmare Doctor, which is fun and that's in a movie called The Thirsting and somebody told me they found it. It's streaming on to be right now. Oh, awesome. No way. Yeah, I love TV. Yeah, we went. We're trying to get Dark Realm on TV, so we're working on it. OK, but we're not. I started to see more people getting on there lately that you know, people that I know and stuff. So that's awesome. Very cool. So I have to go to things, you know, and I'm in another movie called Blood Gnome. And that, that, that one's fun because it's, it's got like some indie horror film cred because it's, it's these little blood drinking gnomes, these little guys, you know, and Oh yeah, they're, they're hysterical and they're evil little creatures and. They're praying on people who are or into blood sports in the **** underground. So it has. Weird underground horror cred because of that, because of the ink involved in it. Yeah. OK. Which is hysterical. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's interesting. I'll have to sit down with you and kind of get a list and we'll see where how many of them we can find. I'll tell people all about them. Yeah. All of a sudden you shouldn't send it you a link to my IMDb, I'll send it to you. But if any of you guys are are interested if you know what IMDb the Internet. Imdb.com go in there and put. You know, look up Ron Fitzgerald actor because there's another Ron Fitzgerald that's a writer, producer, and people get as confused all the time. But I'm, I'm more in front of the camera and he's, you know, all behind the camera and and if you look me up Ron Fitzgerald actor on IMDb, you'll see the whole list of all the different. Things that I've done, OK, it is, it's possible I've seen you on there because I'm on there also Jessica Edwards and I'm not the only Jessica Edwards, but I, I had actually done a lot of listing for episodes of Psycho Babble TV and I might have given you credit in some of those. Oh, thank you. I gotta link you with Psycho Babble. Yeah, it's been a while since I've been on there updating things with it. But actually somebody, somebody did that for me too. I have to make sure check so I can connect those to my profile. But somebody had actually built a profile for my cable TV show that I did like, you know, back in the 90s. Yeah, when we have those giant camcorders and it, it was called Fitzgerald's Realm and it ran for like 7 years, 90 through 96, and somebody put a profile up for it and connected it to my IMDB. So I've now got a credit for. For Fitzgerald Realm, there I I created and produced and hosted that show. That's awesome if you want to see some of the episodes of that. That's on my UBS 2 BS channel. OK, OK, awesome. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Excellent. And I, I haven't, I've seen some of your stuff over there, but I haven't. There's a lot, I, I have a lot of catching up to do. You've got way more stuff. You've got a lot more stuff than I realized. Oh yeah, just just your TikTok there's, I mean, I could be on there for for quite a while. I've got a lot of stuff in there. Yeah. So I mean, if you guys want to go peruse that later, you'll be entertained. It's it's, you know, I love the strange, the unusual and the weird crap. So you'll find a lot of that hot in there. Awesome. Very close. It is, it is, it is and you help me on on my live stream shows. That's in that in the playlist of the live stream shows you and I are hosting on there. Yes, yes, I, yes, I put another clip from that actually earlier today to to remind people that we're going to be on live tonight so Yeah, it was. Yeah, we were talking about about dungeon stripper poles. Ohh, Yeah, well, you're in because you look music and you're in the video for Monster Mash. I redid Monster Mash with a fan from LA called House Made of Dawn, because they also did a lot of. The the, the majority of the, the score and the sound contributions for my movie Dark Realm. That's on Amazon. I was telling you about. OK, yeah, they, we work together and they've got another, their next album that came out was called, it's called All All Hollows and it's all spooky, creepy songs and stuff like that. They're kind of a goth. And dark industrial band, you guys like, yeah, talk about they're here on TikTok as well. And I've, I've seen that, yeah. And they're awesome. And I, I read it, I let my voice to it. They did all that. They did the music and we worked on the music together. And then I went my voice to it to redo Monster Math the the classic. From the 60s and. Are you are in the video with us? Yes, it was so much fun. I actually just looking at it a little bit ago today and I did, I did go ahead and make sure I had this song. I do have it on my computer here, so we'll play that for you guys in a little bit. Awesome. Yeah. It was so much fun filming for that. And you said housemate of Don. They were in your you. They were your movies in your movie soundtrack. How long have you known them and where? How did you meet them? I actually Alpha, the founder former of House Made of Dawn and and then his wife Bliss our make up the most of the band and they live in LA. But but when I met him he he has friends, although of a good friend of mine, Gabriel got us of the vampires from my cable TV show. Days and and even before that. And he is Gabrielle's brother. So I've known him for a long time and then he wound up with a band in LA and I got him hooked up with my filmmaker friends out in LA that that I did. There's a director, writer director John Machado who did a Blood Gnome and Bio slime and Magus, which I. Star in Magus and then I held smaller roles and the other two movies. I got him hooked up with John Machado to start doing some of those songs for their soundtracks for the stuff he was doing. And then when it came around when I made my own movie with Dark Brown, then I of course I asked him to come in and help because he does such awesome. Work and he's done stuff on other things. There's something called Wolfhound that was made in the UK that he's got and he's looking in. She's done scores for other things and he just he does great work. So he does work scoring things and and strong contributions for movies. And then he also has the whole band project House made of Dawn. OK awesome. Very cool. Yeah, very cool. The good stuff. Yeah. If you guys look, there's like at least one or. I think, I don't know. We have a video, I think here on TikTok that's to one of their songs I believe. I have to double check. I think. I think we have something. There's something there's something on your profile where you are dancing to their music. Yes, I did do that. I did do that. It's black and white and I'm all dressed up and ohh, yeah, you're looking good. Looking good. Long black hair. And yeah, so I do have some House Made of Dawn. At least one or two videos. The video actually. Posted it was right before I went live to let everyone know I went live as another black and white video I did and that is with the song monster mash in the background. Yeah, so I did do that today. That's up there now if you guys check that out. It's just a small little clip of it, but that's that's my most recent video at the moment. The most of our yeah, it was fun. I had a good time redoing it. And if you wanna see the full video, that's on my UBS dubious channel as well. So it's a good reason to go over there and check that out just for that alone. Yes, Yes. Mm-hmm. We were talking yesterday for quite a while and I was kind of writing down notes, you know, different, different things I could ask you about and stuff. And I'm just, I'm just looking. So I was wondering more about like events that you have done. You go to all kinds of public events other than just TV and movies and stuff like that. With my live shows, I do a lot of live shows, yeah. And I've appeared a lot of horror conventions, everything from Fangoria used to do conventions and magazine and Fangoria Weekend of Horrors. I thought those flashback weekend in Chicago. I've done Days of the Dead. I've done, you know, all kinds of different things, all kinds of different. Over conventions here in LA. Yeah, to promote the films that I've been in. And I've performed at them too, because nobody else is doing the kind of themed, you know, dark but funny, you know, gothic illusion show. So I perform at at horror conventions and and all kinds of other spooky events. I mean, I performed live. From the Magic Castle in Hollywood all the way to the Hong Kong Halloween Festival. And who do? Hong Kong had a *** **** Halloween festival. But they do so. Wow. So I got to spend a month in Hong Kong entertaining folks there. Very, very cool. So awesome. Oh my goodness. Ohh yeah, gonna ask you what is your favorite event that you've ever done? Ohh that what is that is hard to say. Another one of note that you'll like. I keep getting my camera. I have no depth perception so I keep hitting my stupid ohh. Another one that you will find interesting because you like music is I'm the only illusionist ever to play the second stage at Wala Palooza. What? Yeah. Ohh. True. That isn't that is a fact. Yep. That's incredible. Yeah. We just got done with Lollapalooza out here. That's amazing. That's why I mentioned that because we just we just did it here. But before it was parked here in Chicago, I did Lollapalooza. No, it was a few. It was a few years before it finally parked. It was back in the 90s again. About the time I was able TV show, they came sniffing around. MTV came sniffing around because of the cable TV show they were. They were kind of interested in that. So we were talking, but they never went anywhere. But we were talking. And then later they put out a call that they wanted. Entertainers for awhile. Apalooza. So I threw down on that and they accepted it. Wow. Wow. That's crazy. Now, how big was Lollapalooza then compared to what it is now? Yeah, Well, this was huge. It was out on a race track that at that year, the one they get here in Illinois, outside of Chicago, it was out in Rockford. On a race track they had out there, Rockford Speedway, yes it is. But it was a like in the 90s they were and they sold out of water. They had totally underestimated the weather and people's water consumption. They ran out of water. And then at first they like started to move me around. I performed another location. Then they moved me back to the second stage where I was supposed to be. And then I got to close on second stage. Because it was kind of it was really cool because while I was out up performing and pulling a good crowd for Lollapalooza, you know, for a for a guy not doing music, I have good music in the show. You know, it was like, well, we in Nine Inch Nails and Manson and, you know, creepy fun music like that and and Rob Zombie and you could hear. Soundgarden starting on the mainstage alone because I was finishing up on the second stage. How cool is that? Wow, that's pretty great. That gives you a good time frame. If it was Soundgarden that puts me in like where you know when the time would have been about 95. I think I did it 9596. It was right afterwards and I was ramping up the cable TV show so that you know, the the last couple of years like 9596. So it was it was right in there 1996 actually. OK, alright, that's awesome. OK. And then what is? What's the?
