NGR Season 32 Episode 9: My Meaning by Lil Margaret and More Great Music

Hey, guys. How's it going? What's up? Happy Thursday. It is July 13th. I realized that earlier and uh. I was like, oh, it's Thursday the 13th rather than Friday the 13th. But I hope you're having a great Thursday. It's been really interesting here recently. We had a bunch of crazy storms yesterday, tornadoes everywhere. I had like 3 tornadoes surrounding me yesterday evening. Two of them were like 15 minutes away, one of them, The other one was probably like 20 something minutes away. There was a little nuts and there is this crazy video out there. There was There were so many more that were out in the Chicago land area here, but. I was really kind of like surprised because we don't usually get that many and it was such a short storm. Like the craziness of it. It was like sunny and dark at the same time and then all of a sudden it was like blew over in like 5 minutes. But so many places got damaged and it was wild. But there's this insane video. If you haven't seen it yet, look it up, it's probably I I think it's on YouTube. I want to say it. Either on CBS or. Forget which other networks was covering it that I saw on YouTube, but look up, umm, like Rainbow Tornado. It was weird. Like it was so weird. It's just like this tornado is just like cruising by. It was not in a residential area, but somebody caught it on film. It was so cool I saw it on Facebook. People posting about it. I saw it today. And it was like, maybe I saw it yesterday. I don't know. Whenever I saw it, it's crazy because this tornado just goes across this field. And then immediately as it goes by, this huge rainbow appeared like right behind it. It was so cool. And so that was the weirdest thing I've ever won of the weirdest things I've ever seen. I have seen some pretty bizarre stuff weather wise over the years, but it was very cool. So if you haven't seen that, that's that's a great thing to look at when it comes to the weather, at least with all the destruction that happened yesterday, there was here about. 15 minutes from where I live currently there were roofs off of buildings and things like that. My place is fine. And then just a few more minutes down the road in a slightly different direction, there was other damage. There was there were so many tornadoes it was ridiculous and there it did cause. Quite a bit of damage, I'm not sure like. How much exactly they were going to be assessing that today And you know, I'm sure putting dollar amounts on things and all that kind of stuff, but umm, yeah, it was, it was wild. I was taking pictures of the sky. It never got like green and crazy or anything by me, but it was like a different looking kind of style, like it was unusual. The tornado sirens. Going off, first we got the phone notifications and then a couple minutes later the tornado sirens started going off. And I know people that were very, very close to tornadoes in their areas or like I know of two different people, tornadoes came within about 100 yards of their homes. Um, where their neighbors did have their homes. Destroyed people are displaced. People are able to to go home today. Umm, a lot of people have the electricity out. It missed me. I'm very lucky. I did just plant some new flowers which I have to post pictures of. They're so cute, but like, I was glad they got rain. They're looking very healthy and happy today after transplanting. Going into my planners. Oh yeah, it was kind of wild. So today has been fairly calm. The sky was looking a little strange tonight. I know we're supposed to get some more rain in the Chicago land area. I heard tonight I haven't looked at the the radar or the forecast, but tonight and tomorrow. So we're supposed to get some more storms over here. But I hope everybody out there listening. Is safe. And all your family and friends are safe, of course. And I hope you're doing well.
