Rank: Newbie 4999 Radio Gems (All Time)I am starting this thread to show off some awesome indie music videos. Who are your favorite indie bands that have awesome music videos? There are quite a few NGR Musicians with music videos right here on the site. To kick things off I would like to share a music video with you from the band Sinister Fate. This is their new song beLIEve realeased in August 2025. Let me know what you think in the comments!

The track is this dark, glitchy alt-rock/electronic hybrid
— jagged guitars, distorted synths, pounding drums, and lyrics that feel like a paranoid confession. It’s raw, angry, and super addictive
— the kind of song that makes you want to turn it up until the neighbors complain.
But the video takes it to another level. It’s got this unsettling, almost horror-tinged vibe:
flickering strobe lights, quick cuts between band performance and chaotic protest scenes (junk yard metal, shadowy figures, glitch effects that make everything feel like it’s falling apart).
The color grading is heavy on deep reds and cold blues, giving it a late-night anxiety feel that matches the song perfectly.
— it’s simple but hits hard. It feels like the video is literally visualizing the “lie” in beLIEve.Anyone else catch this one?
Or is there another 2025 indie track/video that’s been haunting your playlist?
I’m especially into the darker, glitchy, atmospheric stuff this year.
Drop the artist/track/video link and a quick line about what grabbed you
— this thread is turning into a killer 2025 discovery list!

Rank: Newbie 4999 Radio Gems (All Time)Just had to jump back in because I stumbled on another 2025 gem that’s been living in my head rent-free:
the music video for “Bad Memory” by Wolves of Tomorrow
— The track itself is this brooding, slow-burn indie-rock banger with haunting vocals and a driving rhythm that feels like it’s chasing something you can’t quite escape. But the video takes it to another level. It’s got this grainy, almost VHS-style aesthetic
— flickering footage, faded faces, abandoned rooms, and these surreal, dream-logic cuts that make the whole thing feel like a half-remembered nightmare. The color grading is moody as hell (lots of deep blues and sickly greens), and the way they sync the visual glitches to the guitar swells is chef’s kiss.
It’s one of those videos where you finish it and immediately hit replay just to catch what you missed. Super atmospheric without being pretentious, and it fits the song’s theme of regret and fractured memories perfectly.
Anyone else seen this one? Or got another 2025 indie video that’s hit you hard? I’m especially into the ones with strong visuals
— lo-fi, surreal, cinematic, whatever.
Drop the link or title + a quick thought.

Rank: Newbie 4999 Radio Gems (All Time)I just rewatched one that’s been on heavy rotation for me this year:
the music video/short film for “Sweet Escape” by Broken Robots (Chicago band)
— directed by Joey Baker, starring his dad Tim Baker (Broken Robots Guitarist Tony Baker’s brother), with Tony on guitar and his wife Kat Baker leading vocals.
This song is this haunting, lo-fi indie-rock gem with raw emotion and killer melodies
— it feels like a late-night confession wrapped in fuzzy guitars and heartfelt lyrics. The music video elevates it into something special. Joey Baker’s direction is moody and cinematic:

gritty footage as you follow along with the adventure, surreal cuts between close-ups of Tim’s performance and abstract memory-like flashes. The family connection adds a layer
— Tim’s acting feels personal, almost like he’s living the regret and escape the lyrics are singing about. It’s intimate, a little unsettling, and super atmospheric
— the kind of visual that sticks with you long after the song ends.
Anyone else catch this one?
Or got a 2025 indie track/video that’s hit you just as hard?
I’m loving the ones with strong storytelling and lo-fi vibes.

Rank: Newbie 4999 Radio Gems (All Time)Adding one more to the pile because I can’t stop thinking about this one:
the music video for “The Fear” by Apricity.
The song is this tense, driving indie-rock track with razor-sharp guitars, pulsing drums, and lyrics that cut deep
— it’s got that anxious, late-night overthinking energy that feels so real in 2025.
The video matches perfectly:
dark, moody cinematography with these claustrophobic shots
— tight close-ups, flickering shadows, and a sense of something always just out of frame. There’s a recurring motif of mirrors and fractured reflections that ties into the theme of internal fear so well. It’s simple but super effective
— no over-the-top effects, just atmosphere and performance that pull you in and don’t let go.
The whole thing feels raw and honest, like the band is letting you see right into their heads.
Has anyone else seen this one?
Or is there another 2025 indie track/video that’s been giving you chills?
I’m especially into the ones with strong emotional visuals and that anxious/indie-rock edge.
