Hey everyone!
Loving this new subforum!
As an indie performer who’s been experimenting with livestreams on NGR Music and YouTube, my top tip for leveling up on a budget is to prioritize audio quality above everything else. Invest in a decent USB mic (like something affordable from Audio-Technica or even a used one) and use free tools in OBS Studio for basic noise suppression and EQ tweaks – it makes a massive difference in keeping viewers hooked, especially for music sets.
Also, engage early and often: greet every new chatter by name and ask about their favorite tracks. It turns casual viewers into regulars super fast.
What’s your go-to hack for better engagement or multi-platform streaming?
Excited to learn from you all
