The song is this tense, driving indie-rock track with razor-sharp guitars, pulsing drums, and lyrics that cut deep
— it’s got that anxious, late-night overthinking energy that feels so real in 2025.
dark, moody cinematography with these claustrophobic shots
— tight close-ups, flickering shadows, and a sense of something always just out of frame. There’s a recurring motif of mirrors and fractured reflections that ties into the theme of internal fear so well. It’s simple but super effective
— no over-the-top effects, just atmosphere and performance that pull you in and don’t let go.
The whole thing feels raw and honest, like the band is letting you see right into their heads.
Or is there another 2025 indie track/video that’s been giving you chills?
I’m especially into the ones with strong emotional visuals and that anxious/indie-rock edge.
— this thread is becoming a killer 2025 playlist source!
— directed by Joey Baker, starring his dad Tim Baker (Broken Robots Guitarist Tony Baker’s brother), with Tony on guitar and his wife Kat Baker leading vocals.
— it feels like a late-night confession wrapped in fuzzy guitars and heartfelt lyrics. The music video elevates it into something special. Joey Baker’s direction is moody and cinematic:

gritty footage as you follow along with the adventure, surreal cuts between close-ups of Tim’s performance and abstract memory-like flashes. The family connection adds a layer
— Tim’s acting feels personal, almost like he’s living the regret and escape the lyrics are singing about. It’s intimate, a little unsettling, and super atmospheric
— the kind of visual that sticks with you long after the song ends.
Or got a 2025 indie track/video that’s hit you just as hard?
I’m loving the ones with strong storytelling and lo-fi vibes.
— this thread is turning into an awesome 2025 indie roundup!
— The track itself is this brooding, slow-burn indie-rock banger with haunting vocals and a driving rhythm that feels like it’s chasing something you can’t quite escape. But the video takes it to another level. It’s got this grainy, almost VHS-style aesthetic
— flickering footage, faded faces, abandoned rooms, and these surreal, dream-logic cuts that make the whole thing feel like a half-remembered nightmare. The color grading is moody as hell (lots of deep blues and sickly greens), and the way they sync the visual glitches to the guitar swells is chef’s kiss.
It’s one of those videos where you finish it and immediately hit replay just to catch what you missed. Super atmospheric without being pretentious, and it fits the song’s theme of regret and fractured memories perfectly.
Anyone else seen this one? Or got another 2025 indie video that’s hit you hard? I’m especially into the ones with strong visuals
— lo-fi, surreal, cinematic, whatever.
Drop the link or title + a quick thought.
This thread is turning into a killer discovery list
— let’s keep feeding it!
It was released in October 2025 by the band Sinister Fate from Chicago, Illinois USA. The song is called beLIEve. The song itself is this dark, glitchy alt-rock/electronic hybrid with razor-sharp lyrics and a chorus that hits like a gut punch. But the video? It’s pure chaos
— surreal visuals, distorted faces, flickering neon, and this creepy, almost dystopian narrative that feels like a fever dream. The production quality is insane for an indie act
— whoever directed/edited it deserves a shoutout. It’s got that perfect mix of unsettling and addictive, and I’ve watched it way too many times already.

Or is there another 2025 indie track/video that’s been living rent-free in your head?
Drop the name, maybe a quick vibe check or favorite moment from the visual. I’m building a playlist and need more fuel
— let’s keep this thread going!
– Trance & Drift Phonk DJ Mix 2026 is finally here and embedded right below! After teasing it last week (with all those tweaks, fresh tracks, and extra visual flair), I spun this high-energy winter warmer to heat up the cold vibes. It’s packed with cool trance builds melting into gritty drift phonk grooves
—perfect for late-night drives, cozy indoor raves, or just cranking the bass while the snow falls outside.

hypnotic, underground, and ready to make you move!
—give it a spin, loop it, share with your crew!
What’s your favorite drop or moment so far?
Any trance peaks or phonk slides that hit just right?
—favorite track, vibe check, or even suggestions for the next one (Valentine’s love grooves coming soon).
If you’re feeling the winter energy, hit play, turn it up, and let’s keep the groove central alive.
More seasonal specials and indie-flavored sets dropping regularly here.
Thanks for the support, NGR fam
—let’s dance through the rest of winter!
Drop it in the replies!
It is almost midnight and I’ve been working on my wintertime dj mix this evening and I am suddenly having a massive craving for chips and chocolate. I know I don’t need it but that sounds really good right about now. Anybody else snacking tonight?
I’m pretty sure that forum posts show up on the new home page activity stream, but I am testing it out.
—nothing like setting intentions with the whole crew to make it feel real.
In 2025 I got comfy with the weekly shows, but this year I’m pushing for more live practice streams, guest collabs (hit me up if you’re an indie producer wanting to hop on a set!), and at least 2 full-length original mix releases with exclusive edits/remixes of lesser-known tracks.
Think deeper dives into phonk x deep house hybrids, seasonal vibes (Valentine’s future bass anyone?), and curating playlists that help unsigned artists get discovered on NGR Music TV.

Or hunt down hidden gems in genres we don’t usually spin?
—like “post one new track ID a week” or “support 10 new indie artists by sharing their stuff.”
Let’s hold each other accountable and make 2026 the year indie thrives here!
and if you want mix inspo or track recs to fuel your goals, I’m all ears.
—let’s make some noise!
This is one of the first ever band interviews that we did for the radio. I did ask a couple of questions along with my good friend and radio hostess Tiffany Tease. It was a very loud venue, so it is hard to hear. I did add the questions asked to the video to make it a little easier to understand. There is also a version where I added some transcription along with the video interview to help viewers to be able to understand it a bit easier. Anyway, this is the band Mushroom Murder Mob.
Thanks for watching!
How did it go with your neon nights clip for the challenge? I know you had been working on one. I would love to hear how it turned out!!! Be sure an upload it when you get a chance even if it is past the original challenge deadline. I would encourage everybody else to do the same! I want to hear everyone joining in on fun music challenge!!
I am working on a new Winter inspired DJ mix. I attempted to record it this past week but it still needed some work so I have been making some changes, adding new tracks and working on the overall visual appeal. I can’t wait to get it recorded again and edit that video for you! I want to get this dj mix video done soon because before you know it February will be here and it will be time for Valentine’s Day!! Here is a little tease screenshot to give you a hint of what I am working with. You can also check out some of my dj livestreams until then too!
