One of my future goals for NGR Music is to help create NGR Music or NGR GrooveLine Indie Music Awards, Inie TV & Film Awards for Indie Artist. Indie Artist has there free will without worrying about mainstream restrictions, limitations and underhanded mainstream bs. I would love to get this going.

Love this! Makes me think about polyester suits, platform shoes, and a Lincoln Mark 3. Iconic, and makes you want to dance. If I was a DJ, I would play this at a retro night at a skating rink.

Love that, the matching jumpsuits remind me of the ones at the hard rock casino Gary that were worn by the Jackson 5. I’m going to guess that matching jumpsuits were a thing for these types of groups back in the 70s.

Heatwave – The GrooveLine is one of my favorite songs of all time since I was a little, and biggest influence behind my company name Da GrooveLine which is now renamed NGR GrooveLine, Heatwave big part of my childhood in Shaker Heights, Ohio before officially moving to L.A. Cali at the age of 14.

@litavondoom how did you like Unsung’s documentary The Story O Heatwave that I posted ? Tragic the accident that caused Johnnie Wilder Jr. that let him paralyzed never to walk again and Mario Mantese incident.

These guys are talented and pretty interesting. I like how their music can be either slow or fast-paced. It’s horrible that Johnnie got into that accident that stopped him from dancing. As someone who dances, I couldn’t imagine never dancing again and I feel for him in that aspect.

@mastalock I never knew that! Thriller is of course my favorite MJ song. I’ve been by the Jackson family home in Gary,IN. They also have Jackson 5 memorabilia in the Hard Rock Casino in Gary. The speaking part of Thriller was horror legend Vincent Price.

@litavondoom Rod Temperton wrote a lot of R &B, Pop, & Funk hits, I will post some more vids on Rod Temperton. The Jacksons are my favorite group, I am a Jacksons/Jackson 5 historian, I have Marlon Jackson Fan Club & The Jacksons Forever Fan Club on Facebook, that started these groups on myspace.
